In the first three years of her career Françoise had numerous hits and was featured in three films. American auteur John Frankenheimer saw Francoise in the back of a night club and said to his assistant: "That's her, that's Lisa." Fran¸oise has had several movie appearances in her career. Below is a list of the films she has been in and one for which she was the art director. Most of the list was taken from the Internet Movie Database, but thanks are do to Warren Gilbert and his fab Françoise page for cluing me in on What's New Pussycat? As of yet the IMD has not changed their Françoise entry to include this film. You will also find pictures from two of her films. Look for movie clips and more stills coming soon.

What's New, Pussycat?

What's New Pussycat ? is the first film featuring Woody Allen. He also wrote the screenplay. Enjoyably, I sat through this entire film waiting for the appearance of Françoise. She didn't appear until the very end. A final carnal temptation to the just married Peter O' Toole. Peter Sellers, also in the film, has a few lines with her as well.

Masculin feminin

Careful you might miss her in this Goddard flick about a 'socialist journalist' and his (girl?)friend who is a 'Ye Ye' girl. An extra added bonus is Bridgitte Bardot's cameo. This movie rocks with its French go-go girl soundtrack.
